Urethane Cement Flooring in Northeast Ohio

Looking For Heavy Duty Flooring?

When a facility needs a floor that can handle moisture, temperature changes, heavy traffic, and demanding daily use, cementitious urethane flooring is a great option.

At Superior Floor Coatings, we install cementitious urethane flooring for commercial and industrial facilities throughout Northeast Ohio. These systems are designed for environments where other flooring options might not hold up over time.

What is Cementitious Urethane Flooring?

Cementitious urethane flooring is a specialized flooring system made from a blend of cement and urethane materials. Unlike many traditional coatings, it is installed as a thicker system that becomes a durable part of the floor itself rather than just a protective layer on the surface.

Our 6 Step Installation Process

At Superior Floor Coatings, proper preparation is critical to creating a floor that performs for years in demanding commercial and industrial environments.

1. Concrete Preparation

We begin by grinding and profiling the concrete to create the proper surface for the new flooring system. The slab is then cleaned and prepared to help ensure a strong bond and long-term performance.

2. Mixing & Material Prep

The flooring materials are mixed together to create a consistent blend ready for installation.

3. Application & Leveling

The mixture is poured out in ribbons and spread to the desired thickness, using several tools to ensure a smooth, level surface.

4. Texture Application (Optional)

If additional slip resistance is needed, texture can be added to the flooring system to create a safer walking surface.

5. Topcoat & Sealing

A clear or colored topcoat is applied to help protect the floor and create a clean, finished appearance.

6. Cleanup, Curing & Return to Service

Once installation is complete, the area is cleaned and inspected. Most urethane cement flooring systems can return to light use within 24 hours.
